Kamasutra Shake

The Kama Sutra or Aforisms on Love is a classical Indian treatise on the art of lovemaking written by Mallanoga Vatsyayana between the first and sixth century AD. It is one of the most exhaustive tracts on love making in the whole of world literature and covers the various aspects of man’s sex life, also giving practical advice on how to reach maximum pleasure. It is divided into seven sections, each facing a different topic; on embraces, on how to choose a female partner, on one’s wife, on other men’s wives, on courtesans etc.

In the seventh part, the Aupamishadika, the subject is the art of seduction; a guide on how to be seductive. A large number of utras ( 36 – 48 ) indicate how to increase sexual vigour but these are difficult to practice in the West as the raw materials can only be found in India. Amongst the ingredients most commonly found in the West and familiar to our taste are: milk, liquorice, honey and sugar.

We have chosen one of the easier sutras for you, n. 44, which reads ” This nectar is blessed, it enhances sexual vigour, it lengthens your life and it has a sweet taste.”

Drink it in small sips, well cooled and good luck!

  • 1 tbsp clarified butter (heat the butter till it froths and skim with a muslin filter)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp liquorice powder
  • 150 ml milk
  • 150 ml centrifuged fresh fennel juice

Wash and dry the fennel.

Centrifuge to obtain 150 ml of liquid.

Pour into the blender with the other ingredients and process.

To serve pour into two ice filled glasses
