King Prawns Kiss me and I will Come Back


Serves 2: 6 king prawns, cleaned, unshelled and beheaded 6 slices of lard from Arnad, or the best quality you can find Ground thyme A pinch of salt Balsamic vinegar

Pre heat the oven at 180 grades. Wrap each prawn in a slice of lard and place it in a slightly oiled glass pan, sprinkle it with the thyme and a pinch of salt. Bake for about 8 or 10 minutes until the prawn will be cooked in the fat of the lard that has melted. When done dot them with the balsamic vinegar and eat them while still hot.

Recommended wine:

Dry sparkling wine.
